I grew up in Ridley. I live in Springfield. I coach youth sports here, I feed people here, and I invest in real estate here. Delaware County isn't my market — it's my home.
I became a realtor because I genuinely believe I can make people's lives better. Not by showing them houses. By understanding their situation deeply enough to find a path forward when others have told them there isn't one.
Before earning my real estate license, I spent more than 20 years in mortgage lending and financial technology — rising to Chief Information Officer at Finance of America Companies, one of the largest non-bank mortgage lenders in the country. I've seen the home buying and selling process from every angle: the financing structures that make deals work, the complications that make deals fall apart, and the creative solutions that most agents have never encountered.
That background is what separates me. When your situation is complicated — when the deal looks difficult, when a lender has said no, when you feel like you're out of options — I'm the agent you want in your corner.

Who Is Ben Hill
Ben Hill is a licensed real estate agent serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and northern Delaware, affiliated with Premier Property Sales and Rentals in Springfield, PA. He works with buyers, sellers, and investors across Springfield, Havertown, Media, Ridley Park, Swarthmore, Newtown Square, and the surrounding Delaware County communities.
What sets him apart from most agents in the area is his background. Before real estate, Ben spent over 20 years in mortgage lending and financial technology, including serving as Chief Information Officer at Finance of America Companies. That means he brings real financing expertise, not just listing experience, to buyers and sellers who are dealing with complicated situations: creative financing, investment property analysis, estate sales, and deals that conventional lenders have already turned down.
Ben is also a lifelong Delaware County resident. He grew up in Ridley, lives in Springfield Township, coaches youth sports with the Springfield Athletic Association, and serves as Managing Director of The Food Pantry at Ridley Park United Methodist Church.
A Different Kind of Delaware County Agent
Most real estate transactions are straightforward. You find a house, you get a conventional loan, you close. A lot of agents are excellent at that — and I do it well too.
But some situations don't fit that mold. Maybe you own a home and can't figure out how to buy the next one without selling first. Maybe you've found a property that needs significant work and can't get a traditional mortgage on it. Maybe you've been told you need to save more money before you can move, and that answer doesn't feel right to you.
Those are the situations where I do my best work.
I've helped clients use bridge loans and HELOCs to unlock equity they didn't know how to access. I've sourced private funding for properties that conventional lenders wouldn't touch. I've structured deals with second mortgages, cash-out refinances, and creative sequencing that got people into homes they were told they couldn't afford.
If you've been told there's no path forward, I'd encourage you to have one conversation before you accept that answer.

Who I Work With
I work best with people who want a real partner in the process — someone who will take the time to understand their full situation, be honest about what I find, and work alongside them to find the best solution. Not just the easiest one.
First-time homebuyers who want to understand what they're actually getting into — not just the mortgage payment, but the full financial picture of homeownership. I take the time to make sure you understand every step before you take it.
Move-up and move-down buyers who feel stuck because they're not sure how to sequence the sale of their current home with the purchase of their next one. This is more solvable than most people think.
Aspiring investors who want to start building a real estate portfolio but aren't sure how to evaluate a deal, structure the financing, or think through a long-term plan. I own investment properties myself in Delaware County and I can walk you through this from real experience, not just theory.
Sellers in complex situations — estate sales, properties that need work, sellers who aren't sure whether selling is even the right move right now. I'll give you an honest answer even when it costs me a commission.

Rooted in Delaware County
I'm a Springfield Township resident, a Boston College graduate (Class of 1999), and someone who has spent most of his adult life in this community.
Beyond real estate, you'll find me on the sidelines coaching youth sports with the Springfield Athletic Association. And I serve as Managing Director of The Food Pantry at Ridley Park United Methodist Church, where we serve between 500 and 1,000 people every month.
I don't bring those things up to impress you. I bring them up because they're part of who I am and how I operate. I show up for this community whether or not there's a commission involved. That's the same way I show up for my clients.
